USB Flash drives(removable devices) data can be encrypted made easy to users in windows7 BitLocker.
To enable BitLocker protection, select the drive to encrypt in windows explorer, right -click on the drive and select "Turn on BitLocker" it initializes the drive. Do not remove your drive during BitLocker setup.
New page with BitLocker Drive Encryption on the chosse How you want to Unlock this Drive page, choose one or more for the following options, and then click Next as shown.

Use my smart card to unlock the drive protects the drive using smart card pin, To unlock the drive smart card pin is used. Normally used to unlock a drive in workplace which require smart card reader.
We can recover the key, even if your forget your password by saving the key to a file or by printing the recover key.
After saving the recovery file , by clicking the start Encryption confirms the process.
